Getting....

Little boss came back to work today and I haven't stopped yet! so just a quick note on two birthdays whose date I fumbled! twice this week I called to relatives to wish a happybirthday and twice I was told that it had been the day before! ok... why did I, this year, have the date wrong on my notebook, when for several years now, I had the date right?!

I must be getting old...

Hot in the city

Do you know that Joe Cocker music 'Hot in the city'? - Well, it's definitely HOT in Lisbon! 40ºC and rising!

I know I've been complaining about the weather and how it hasn't been summer hot, but, commo'n, there's no need to exagerate, is there?! I mean, I would have settle for a nice 30ºC!

I feel like I'm dehidrating at a faster rate than I can drink water! and I can't even go to the beach... because I'm working! grrrrrrrrrr....

Anyway, I just discovered a blog that I think is very interesting and educational about the war in Irak. It's http://www.michaelyon-online.com/, and don't get me wrong, I am definitely against the war, or any war for that matter. But one thing are the reasons (or lack of them) for satrting a war and another, totally diferent, are the men and women fighting the war. They are just doing their job and, in my opinion, should me complemented for it!
