Scary dreams

Today (or was it yesterday?) I dreamn't I had lost almost all my teeth - I looked like an old woman without any teeth - well, I still had about 5 or 6 of them! Strange, right?

Well, here's the scary part: I decided to finf out what it meant, so I google dreams interpretation and here's what I found out: dreaming with teeth is bad, really bad - it usually means death, either your own or of someone close to you, like a relative or something... the only time it means something good is when the tooth falls in your hand, then it means a birth...

Small problem - I had so many teeth falling, I can't say if they fell on my hand, the floor, or if they are still hanging in the air trying to decide!

I really hate not knowing these things!

Hope, it's a birth! :-) another nice/nephew would be fun! I miss holding a baby in my arms!

Of course, there's always the change that it was just a dream and it doesn't mean anything, but I believe we know more than we realise, so let's believe it's a birth and call it just a dream if it's bad - if you don't believe, it can't come true!

And men keep on surprising me! I moved house recently and had to change my address at tvcabo. They went over to the house today to turn the service on and afterwards they called to confirm that everything was in order. it was and I said so. over and done with, right?!

Not quite... a couple of minutes later I had a message from the man with whom I had spoken to on the phone saying that mine was the nicest voice he had heard in his 3 years at tvcabo! Hello?!!!!

I mean, thank you very much for the compliment, but, what?! do men actually do this things for real or did I just talked to a potencial staulker?! I bet he's as ugly as they come, right?! or maybe not...

Well, I've been single for a while now and I am a bit insane, so I'll admit - I answered his message with a simple thank you...

What do you think?!Totally insane, right?!... ah, well - another short story to tell the grandchilds (if they ever exist!) lol

Big boss brought bolas de berlim for the office... Something's up!... or is she just trying to get us fat?! lol... Whatever! Don't really care - I ate mine and it was very good! She should do this everyday! hum... ok, once a week might be a better idea! How about some pasteis de belem?!... :-D

Done!

Starting to doze off again... but with a sense of acomplishment: I've delivered my internship report! Now all I have to do is to wait for my boss to give my mark to my internship adviser and for him to give a the final mark!... I should know something by september... late september...no worries!

While looking for something to do/learn/put in my cv, I found out that UNL has summer courses! and they even have one that I'm interested in! ok, there has to be a catch, right?! Right! the course starts on the same week I'm going on vacations! Good luck atending! Think they'll let me attend from the beach?! I'm only going to Algarve... Or maybe, they could join me! How's that for a summer course?! On the beach!Anyone in favour say yeah!

Well, gonna keep looking!who knows, maybe I'll win the lottery and won't have to worry about the future anymore!

Oooops, guess I fell asleep and had myself a little dream! It was a good one! Left me with a smile on my face!

Sleepy monday

I want my bed! I'm falling asleep in front of the computer! Please, help!...
Last friday, I babysitted my two nephews! They were so quiet and well behaved, I couldn't believe it! They love each other dearly, but they are 5 years apart (one is 7, the other 2), so getting them to be nice with each other isn't easy, but this friday they were real angels!

The only animal that suffered a bit, was the cat! She's 4 months old, absolutely crazy and so incredibly sweet you wouldn't believe! And, of course, the 2 years old has a little dificulty in playing with her! He doesn't mean to hurt her, but he's just a little brute! One of his favourite things is picking her up... by the neck! The poor thing as been strangled several times since she first moved in 3 weeks ago!

Anyway, he finally learned the right way to pick her up, so now he just carries her wherever he goes! No wonder the animal stays in hiding most of the time! Can you imagine being confortably asleep and being pick up by a happy child to be moved and placed elsewhere, just because the child felt like it?! Boy, check out the patience!

The weekend was good, quiet and with time to do a little future searching and finish the round puzzle of the globe! It's amazing! Have to buy another! I really like puzzles!

This post isn't making much sense, is it? it's probably the sleepiness... Gonna get coffee! (if you can think of anything else that might work, let me know!)
